APE is open for trading on Bitazza! 

ApeCoin (APE) is the ERC20 governance and utility token of the APE ecosystem. APE can be used to participate in the Apecoin DAO, as a currency on the platform, to access exclusive areas of the APE ecosystem, and as an incentive for developers to build on the APE ecosystem.

The APE ecosystem consists of a growing stable of interconnected Metaverse and NFT projects, including the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and the Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), and is designed as a decentralized protocol layer that supports art, gaming, entertainment, and events on Web3.

While Yuga Labs, the team behind BAYC/MAYC, are linked to the APE ecosystem, APE is governed by the community via the ApeCoin DAO. The DAO has a Foundation intended to steward the growth and development of the APE ecosystem, which is intended to become more decentralized over time.

Leading members currently include Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, FTX’s Head of Ventures & Gaming Amy Wu, Sound Ventures’ Maaria Bajwa, Animoca’s co-founder Yat Siu, and Horizen Labs’ President Dean Steinbeck.

The total supply of APE is fixed at 1 billion tokens, of which 277.5 million are already in circulation. Additional APE will be unlocked and released into circulation at regular intervals according to the unlock schedule outlined by the APE Foundation.
