What are Freedom Shards?

Think of Freedom Shards (FDS) as the official currency or “Metaverse Credits” within the Freedom Ecosystem. They power both digital and real-world applications, fostering increased user engagement and participation.

Holding Freedom Shards unlocks a diverse range of benefits, from enhancing your experience within the ecosystem through temporary in-game advantages to accessing tangible real-world perks. These perks include waived trading fees, VIP access to events, and exclusive shopping privileges at the Shards Shop. With Freedom Shards, the Freedom Ecosystem unlocks a world of exciting possibilities waiting for you to discover.

How to earn Freedom Shards?

There are several ways to earn Freedom Shards within the Freedom Ecosystem:

Completing Missions
You can earn Freedom Shards as rewards for completing missions within the Freedom ecosystem, including missions from both Freedom and partner communities on the Freedom World app. You can also earn Freedom Shards through your Freedom Card onboarding process by using your card, referring your friends, and completing trade missions on the Bitazza app.
Freedom Shards Airdrop
We will also have 3 exclusive airdrops for Freedom Mall and BTZ token holders, as a token of appreciation for our community and BTZ holders, the utility token of Bitazza, and your unwavering support in the Freedom ecosystem. Please refer to the table below for more details.

Airdrop Phase 1

The token swap for Freedom Mall (FDM) tokens to Shards (FDS) tokens will be carried out through a conversion process, consolidating prices at a rate of 17.19 FDM to 1 FDS. This conversion, constituting the first airdrop, is set to be completed by 15th March 2024 at 12:00 PM (GMT+7).

Users holding Freedom Mall tokens from the Bitazza’s Launchpad campaign will experience an automatic bulk conversion during the first Airdrop on 15th March 2024 at 12:00 PM (GMT+7). Conversely, if you are holding Freedom Mall tokens in individual wallets, you must transfer them to Bitazza platforms before 15th March 2024 at 12:00 PM (GMT+7) to partake in the first Airdrop.

Airdrop Phase 2

For the second airdrop on April 14, 2024, starting from 12:00 PM (GMT+7) onwards, a total of 600,000 FDS will be distributed. The system will calculate and allocate FDS only to individuals holding Freedom tokens, or FDM (formerly BTZ) from 10 September 2023 to 8 March 8 2024. The number of FDS you receive is based on your minimum FDM holdings during this period.

Holding FDM for the second airdrop includes all FDM tokens across Bitazza platforms, including the Freedom Card.

Airdrop Phase 3

To participate in this final airdrop phase, you can secure your spot by staking FDM Tokens through two simple methods.

Firstly, stake your FDM tokens on Bitazza Global application.

Secondly, you can apply for a Freedom Card and stake FDM to upgrade to your desired card tier, ranging from tier 1 to tier 6. Applying for a Freedom Card not only provides you access to exclusive benefits but also secures your spot in this FDS Airdrop.

To qualify for the FDS airdrop, you must maintain your staking consistently throughout the entire staking period, which runs from June 6 to December 3, 2024. A total of 600,000 FDS will be allocated based on the minimum amount of FDM staked during this period. It’s important to note that Bitazza will also randomly conduct snapshots to verify the minimum staked FDM, ensuring fairness in the distribution process.

The airdropping of FDS tokens to qualified FDM holders will commence from December 13, 2024, onwards.

How to access Freedom Shards?

Your Freedom Shards (FDS) balance will be displayed in the Freedom community.

If you are receiving Freedom Shards via airdrop, follow these steps;

Step 1: Download the Freedom World app from (https://freedom.world/join/freedom) and sign in with your Bitazza email address.

Step 2: Select the “Wallet” tab under the Freedom World app menu to view your FDS balance.

What are the benefits?

Freedom Shards holders can exchange its value for various digital and physical rewards directly under the “Rewards” section of Freedom Community app soon. These rewards include items such as Tesla cars, air tickets, MacBooks, iPhones, AirPods, Marshall Bluetooth speakers, PS5 gaming consoles, gift vouchers, Bitazza x Freedom merchandise, and more.

While the majority of its benefits currently reside within the Freedom ecosystem and on the Freedom World App, the rewards program holds potential for wider application and additional benefits in the future.

Freedom Shards will be evolving beyond just a rewards program, offering long-term benefits within the ecosystem. This expansion includes exciting features like gamification, community buy-sell options, and mining abilities. Soon, gamification elements will be introduced to enhance user engagement. Additionally, Freedom ecosystem partners can purchase FDS from the community. Lastly, the Proof of Commitment (Staking 2.0) will reward users who invest in and develop ‘Freedom Planets’ with FDS, recognizing their commitment to the ecosystem.
